We’ve all heard this before, but experts recommend that children be physically active for at least 60 minutes every day.
Incorporating active play into every day life improves sleep, increases muscle and bone strength, and promotes lifelong good health!
Having fun outside in warm weather is a great way to spend time as a family, and to get some exercise without needing to go to a gym. Ask your children to help you think of ideas for things you can do together outside.
It doesn’t have to cost a lot—often, you can use items you already have on hand.
